Staff Data Analyst – Compliance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing European fintech organization seeking a Staff Data Analyst - Compliance to build analytics foundations for regulatory operations. This is a greenfield role with strategic visibility across Product, Operations, Risk, and Internal Control teams.

You'll own compliance process monitoring from the ground up—tracking KYC/KYB funnels, remediation campaigns, and financial exposure—and create self-service analytics tools that empower senior stakeholders to make decisions without waiting on data requests.

Responsibilities

• Build and own data infrastructure for compliance monitoring, including onboarding funnel analytics and remediation financial exposure tracking
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to build end-to-end transformation pipelines using dbt, maintaining clean metric definitions trusted by non-technical stakeholders
• Partner with Product, Operations, Risk & Compliance, and Internal Control to scope and deliver analytical tools
• Deliver insights on the KYC/KYB funnel end-to-end—refusal reasons, document gaps, lead-time distributions—enabling teams to address friction quickly
• Measure MRR secured, at risk, or lost across active remediation campaigns, with peak activity during Q4 and May-June periods
• Design dashboards and models for autonomous end-user exploration, adaptable from operational SLA tracking to executive budget reporting

What We're Looking For

• Compliance or regulated environment experience: You've worked analytically on KYC/KYB, AML, remediation, or similar regulatory/operational processes and can quickly establish credibility with compliance stakeholders
• Self-service product mindset: You've designed dashboards and models that allow end-users to explore data autonomously across different organizational levels
• Cross-functional stakeholder management: You've managed competing analytical priorities across multiple teams, know how to scope clearly, push back appropriately, and drive adoption
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills: You've built end-to-end transformation pipelines, enforced data quality standards, and earned trust from non-technical stakeholders
• AI-native workflow: You actively use AI tools to accelerate analytics work—from data modeling to stakeholder communication—and are curious about expanding this capability
• Language: Fluent in English
• Location: Paris-based
