About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization that is scaling a lending product focused on expanding access to credit for underserved communities. This is a London-based hybrid role (3 days in office) for an Operations Associate who will be instrumental in building and automating operational processes from the ground up.

This client is in a high-growth phase, combining hands-on operational work with cutting-edge automation and AI integration. You'll work directly with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams while helping design highly automated workflows that set new standards in the lending space.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day operations for a lending product, including customer queries, underwriting decisions, and collections management
• Ensure smooth, reliable experiences for customers and partner stakeholders across all touchpoints
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency without compromising service quality
• Build automation and AI-powered workflows directly into operations using best-in-class tools
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design scalable operational systems
• Work with data to inform decisions and measure operational performance

What We're Looking For

Must have:

• Experience working in fast-paced, regulated environments such as fintech startups or consulting
• Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to drive decisions
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to create improvements and drive operational developments
• Excitement about building highly automated, AI-enabled operations rather than just following existing processes
• High agency and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Genuine care for delivering excellent customer experiences

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Google Suite, Notion, Intercom, or Claude
• Experience with automation platforms and AI assistants
