Manager, Client Reporting & Analytics – US Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential life sciences services organization in their search for a Manager, Client Reporting & Analytics. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, reporting to senior leadership within the analytics function.

Our client partners with biopharma companies to deliver specialized commercial and medical services throughout the drug lifecycle. In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of client-facing reporting solutions that transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights supporting executive decision-making and program performance.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, roadmap, and operating standards for client reporting and analytics services
• Lead development of dashboards, automated reporting, and self-service analytics using Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and related platforms
• Build reusable reporting frameworks that enable faster deployment and consistency across client engagements
• Translate life sciences data sources—including commercial performance, medical operations, claims, prescription, and operational data—into clear reporting and insights
• Serve as analytics subject matter expert during client onboarding, requirement sessions, executive readouts, and business reviews
• Partner with cross-functional teams including data engineering, product, client systems, and customer success to define data sources, reporting standards, semantic models, and governance requirements
• Establish KPI definitions, data quality processes, documentation standards, and governance routines
• Drive AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, and executive insight capabilities where appropriate
• Manage reporting platform priorities, project timelines, vendor relationships, and budget tracking

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in analytics, data science, information systems, business, life sciences, or related field preferred
• Six or more years in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or client-facing analytics services
• Three or more years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or life sciences data analytics preferred
• Background managing analytics projects, reporting platforms, dashboards, or executive reporting deliverables

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and medical operations, healthcare data, and reporting use cases
• Advanced experience with Power BI or similar visualization platforms
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of data modeling, data marts, data warehousing, and reporting pipelines
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Power Platform, or similar cloud/data tools preferred
• Ability to define KPIs, reporting logic, data dictionaries, and governance standards
• Strong project management, vendor management, communication, and executive presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience supporting remote, cross-functional teams and client-facing stakeholders
• Eastern or Central time zone residents preferred

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $150,000 - $161,000, which may vary based on education, experience, skills, and certifications.
