Senior People Partner

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential life sciences organization seeking a Senior People Partner to join their Central Functions HR team in London or Manchester (hybrid). In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to leaders across central group functions including IT, Finance, HR and other corporate teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building trusted relationships with functional leaders, understanding their priorities, team dynamics and development needs
• Helping leaders shape the capability, culture and leadership behaviours their teams need to succeed
• Acting as a coach and partner, offering thoughtful challenge, sound judgement and support on people and leadership priorities
• Working with Talent Management and Development teams to deliver meaningful talent reviews, succession planning and development initiatives
• Partnering with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring decisions strengthen both capability and culture
• Collaborating with Total Rewards on salary reviews, bonus decisions, benchmarking and job architecture
• Using data, insight and employee feedback to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to leaders
• Supporting organisation design and change initiatives with a focus on clarity and positive employee experience
• Embedding enterprise-wide People and Culture processes in ways that feel simple and relevant for leaders
• Working across HR Centers of Excellence, Employee Relations, Legal and other partners to provide joined-up support

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who brings:

• 5+ years of HR business partnering experience with proven ability to advise, challenge and influence senior leaders
• Strong understanding of how organizations grow and evolve, including leadership development, culture building, capability development and organisation design
• Demonstrated ability to align people priorities with business goals, commercial realities and future capability needs
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to build credibility across leaders, HR teams, Legal, Finance and other partners
• Hands-on experience with talent management, succession planning, performance management, reward structures and hiring governance
• Confidence using data, insights and feedback to identify patterns and convert them into clear recommendations
• Genuine commitment to building an inclusive, connected and high-performing culture
