Account Director

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential global marketing services organization seeking an Account Director to lead client delivery and project execution in London. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client relationships, overseeing end-to-end project delivery across medium to complex engagements. You will manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of multi-channel content projects including digital, video, social, and integrated campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing client relationships with a focus on delivery excellence and maintaining confidence in our capabilities
• Acting as the key delivery contact between clients, agencies, and internal production teams
• Structuring regular status communications, defining project scope, setting expectations, and troubleshooting issues
• Partnering with production, finance, and creative teams to ensure proper resource allocation and superior results
• Managing project budgets, tracking costs, reconciling estimates to actuals, and protecting margins
• Overseeing POs, financial reporting, billing, and profitability analysis across assigned accounts
• Developing SOWs, change orders, and estimates while identifying new revenue opportunities
• Leading diverse teams to deliver on time, on specification, and on budget
• Identifying workflow improvements and process innovations in project management
• Maintaining project documentation including timing schedules, risk registers, trackers, and status reports

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings proven project and client management experience within an integrated agency environment, with strong understanding of marketing and production processes across key channels. You possess commercial acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed organization.

Required qualifications:

• Project or client management experience within an interactive or integrated agency setting
• Strong understanding of production processes, creative development, content production, and marketing methodologies across digital, video, content, and social channels
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-component projects and deliver on time and on budget
• Experience building solid client relationships and managing multiple projects cross-functionally
• Commercial skills including scope development, budget creation, and profitability tracking
• Proven negotiation abilities and strong presentation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Professional, calm, approachable demeanor with problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello, or Miro
• Experience working with offshore teams is a plus
