Senior Account Manager [ Mat Cover 9 Months FTC]

Responsibilities

We are representing a global marketing production organization on a 9-month fixed-term contract for a Senior Account Manager role based in Watford. This position is embedded onsite with a major retail client, working two to three days per week in Watford and occasionally from our client's London facility.

You will manage digital media projects from briefing through final delivery, coordinating between the client's in-house creative team, internal stakeholders, and external agency partners. Your work will span web, email, and paid media campaigns, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards and adherence to service level agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing client relationships and presenting creative work to a high standard
• Preparing proposals and weekly status reports with accompanying meetings
• Coordinating projects across multiple internal and external teams
• Utilizing project management tools including Workfront and Trello
• Monitoring timelines, managing expectations, and escalating issues appropriately
• Ensuring quality control procedures are followed before client delivery
• Providing detailed contact reports and agendas following all client meetings
• Identifying workflow improvements and process optimization opportunities
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Delivering against contractual KPIs consistently

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings strong account management experience from creative, digital, or production environments, with particular strength in retail sector work. You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced settings while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Proven time management and prioritization abilities
• Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills
• Experience managing multi-market retail accounts
• Background in creative, branding, social, digital, or print production
• Familiarity with creative adaptation briefs
• Client-focused approach with team player mentality
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a can-do attitude
• Strong IT literacy including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Quick learner with new software platforms
• Fluent written and oral English

Desirable qualifications include basic understanding of digital media channels and additional language capabilities.
