LPN/RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse

Join Phoenix Home Care and Hospice as a dedicated LPN/RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse serving families in Hutchinson, Kansas. We're seeking a compassionate, skilled nursing professional to deliver excellent direct care to pediatric patients in their homes on a full-time basis.

The Opportunity

As a pediatric home health nurse with Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and their families through complex medical needs. This is a hands-on nursing position where you'll build meaningful relationships with young patients while providing clinical expertise that makes a real difference. You'll work independently and collaboratively within our care team to ensure every child receives individualized, compassionate attention in the comfort of their home.

Core Duties

• Assess pediatric patients' health status and vital signs
• Administer medications and manage medication schedules
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other skilled nursing interventions
• Monitor and document patient progress and clinical outcomes
• Educate families on patient care, treatment plans, and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain comprehensive, timely clinical documentation
• Respond to patient and family needs with professionalism and empathy

Skills & Qualifications

• Current, valid RN or LPN license in Kansas
• Experience in pediatric nursing or home health care
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Compassionate approach to pediatric and family-centered care
