About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in the Florissant, Missouri area on weekend schedules. This is a full-time position that allows you to practice independently in home settings while collaborating closely with our interdisciplinary care team. You'll work directly with patients and families, managing medical needs and building trust in an intimate home environment—an ideal role for nurses who thrive in autonomous, patient-centered work.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric patients according to individualized care plans
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical findings
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care techniques
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and communicate updates with the healthcare team
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols in the home environment
• Provide compassionate support and respond to patient and family needs

Who We're Looking For

• Current LPN or RN license, valid in Missouri
• Experience or strong comfort providing pediatric nursing care
• Excellent assessment, clinical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Compassionate approach to patient and family care
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
