About the Role
This position focuses on installing and servicing standby generator systems, with an emphasis on natural gas piping and related plumbing tasks. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure safe, reliable generator operation.
What You'll Do
- Connect natural gas lines to standby generators following code and safety standards
- Thread and assemble galvanized, poly, and Tracpipe piping systems
- Perform gas‑plumbing installations, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Utilize basic plumbing and construction tools to complete jobs efficiently
- Participate in on‑the‑job training to expand expertise in generator‑specific plumbing
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with natural gas piping, including Tracpipe, galvanized, and poly pipe
- Demonstrated ability to thread pipe accurately and safely
- Familiarity with general plumbing and construction tools
- A willingness to learn and adapt to generator‑specific applications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
