Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate pediatric home care services during premium overnight shifts in Florissant, Missouri. This full-time position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates ready to make a difference in children's lives.

What This Role Involves

As an LPN or RN specializing in pediatric home care, you'll deliver skilled nursing care to children in their homes during overnight hours. You'll be the trusted clinical presence families depend on when their children need medical support most, managing complex care needs with expertise, compassion, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound management as prescribed
• Perform skilled nursing assessments and document clinical observations in patient records
• Collaborate with families to ensure care plans align with each child's unique medical and developmental needs
• Communicate effectively with physicians, care coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean home care environment and follow infection control protocols
• Respond appropriately to medical changes and emergency situations

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license in Missouri
• Certification in pediatric CPR/BLS (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in pediatric, acute care, or home health nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours with sound judgment and reliability
