LPN/RN Homecare (Children and Young Adults) Overnights

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate overnight homecare services to children and young adults in Van Buren, Missouri. This is a full-time position that makes a direct, meaningful difference in the lives of pediatric patients and their families.

The Opportunity

You'll deliver skilled nursing care during overnight shifts, supporting children and young adults in their homes. This role offers the chance to build deep, lasting relationships with patients and families while providing the clinical expertise and emotional support that pediatric homecare demands. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing assessments and direct patient care during overnight hours
• Monitor vital signs, medication administration, and patient clinical status throughout shifts
• Respond to patient needs and manage acute or changing health conditions
• Maintain accurate, complete clinical documentation and communication with the care team
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Educate and support families in managing patient care at home
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN licensure in Missouri
• Experience in pediatric or acute nursing care (strongly preferred)
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining excellent clinical judgment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Van Buren service area
• CPR certification current or obtainable before employment
