Data Analyst – 8 Month FTC

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Data Analyst for an 8-month fixed-term contract based in their London office. In this role, you will:

• Understand products and processes through comprehensive data analysis and collection
• Help stakeholders leverage data insights to build reporting that improves key performance indicators
• Originate, maintain, and enhance data analytics ETL processes
• Build and manage dashboards and reports using Looker
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders across operations, finance, and risk to understand data needs and deliver on requests
• Develop and maintain data standards, managing data libraries and dictionaries
• Document findings and share insights both within and outside the data team
• Champion a data-driven mindset across the organization

You will be an integral part of a newly formed business intelligence team, building and developing the analytics and insights capabilities that drive business decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a data analyst in a start-up or fast-paced organization
• Proven track record with SQL and writing queries (GCP/BigQuery preferred)
• Solid foundation in Python programming, or a strong desire to learn with basic knowledge already achieved
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a dynamic environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills across various business functions
• Excellent communication abilities, comfortable translating technical detail into business and commercial language
• Ambitious and curious mindset with a passion for storytelling through data insights
