Technical Sourcer (FTC)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in London seeking a Technical Sourcer for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Our client operates in the fast-paced tech sector, and this hybrid role will be based at their London headquarters.

As a Technical Sourcer, you'll play a critical role in identifying and engaging world-class engineering talent. You'll partner with recruiters and hiring managers to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines across Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, iOS, and Android engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage top-tier engineering talent using creative sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and developer communities
• Craft thoughtful, highly personalized outreach that authentically represents the employer brand and engineering opportunities
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, refine target profiles, and align on hiring priorities across engineering functions
• Deliver seamless candidate handoffs to recruiters, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to interview stage
• Leverage data to track pipeline health, outreach engagement, and conversion metrics to continuously optimize sourcing strategies
• Map relevant target companies and provide real-time talent market insights and salary benchmarks to key stakeholders
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by proactively sourcing candidates from underrepresented backgrounds

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Proven experience sourcing technical talent (Backend, Frontend, Mobile) in-house or within a fast-paced tech recruitment agency
• Strong research and candidate engagement skills using advanced boolean search techniques and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building collaborative partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers
• Proactive, data-informed approach with a clear understanding of how sourcing metrics drive talent strategy and decision-making
• Demonstrated passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in sourcing pipelines

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience working with modern applicant tracking systems such as Ashby
• Familiarity with engineering skill sets and domain landscapes across product and tech ecosystems
