SMB Sales Team Leader – 12 months FTC

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential food delivery marketplace in their search for a Sales Team Leader on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role is based in Manchester, requiring three days per week in the office, Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm.

You will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives focused on acquiring independent restaurant and retail partners across the French market. Your mission is to drive new sign-ups while ensuring partners receive exceptional support as they join the platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of SDRs to deliver quality partner acquisition and generate new sales opportunities
• Utilize Salesforce to track pipeline activity and maintain accurate reporting
• Identify development areas within your team and provide coaching sessions to enhance performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to share market insights and maximize opportunities
• Execute targeted campaigns following contact strategies that deliver key performance metrics including sales outcomes and partner experience
• Produce regular sales reports with analysis and clear action plans
• Attend weekly stakeholder meetings to provide updates on team performance and progress
• Serve as an inspirational role model for your team

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in a Sales Leadership role
• Proven track record of delivering results in a contact center environment
• Ability to guide partners through effective negotiation and handle objections
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-based environment
• Passion for both people leadership and results delivery

Desired:

• Experience working with Salesforce for customer enhancement
• Familiarity with High Velocity Sales tools and methodologies
• Track record of identifying process improvements in pipeline management
• Experience finding incremental improvements in high-performing teams
