CDM Programmer I

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a CDM Programmer I to join their team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with clinical data management systems and contribute to critical data management deliverables in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Our client operates at the forefront of clinical trials and data integrity, and this role will provide essential programming support for database development, data validations, and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test project databases and edit checks for clinical trial data
• Define and import data into clinical data management systems
• Create and test listings for data review and quality assurance
• Research and resolve issues related to database programming and data validation
• Support multi-disciplinary project teams to complete tasks on time and within budget
• Begin to assist with lead programming activities under oversight
• Ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures and working practice documents
• Contribute to training materials and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of clinical data and proprietary client information

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in clinical data management or programming
• Knowledge of at least one programming language or relational database systems (RDBMS)
• Strong written, verbal, and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) or ability to learn quickly
• Demonstrated initiative, motivation, and ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive clinical and proprietary data
