BDR Outbound Specialist

Responsibilities

Our client, a fast-paced technology startup, is seeking a BDR Outbound Specialist to drive their prospecting and lead generation efforts. In this role, you will be completely focused on finding and qualifying prospects, piquing their interest through creative outreach, and setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team to close.

You will spend your days researching prospects, scouring digital channels for buying signals, uncovering opportunities others overlook, and connecting the dots to build robust lead pools. You'll obsess over ideal customer profiles—understanding how they behave, where they engage, and how to reach more decision-makers just like them. Beyond executing proven processes, you'll proactively identify and build entirely new categories of prospects that don't yet exist in the pipeline.

This is a hunter role for someone who finds energy in the chase and takes pride in exceeding quota quarter after quarter.

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of exceeding quota, ideally generating $1M+ in qualified pipeline
• Experience selling a unique product or service with average deal sizes of $50K or more
• Obsessive, entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to win in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong ability to take initiative and figure things out independently with minimal direction
• Technical aptitude and tool savvy—you know how to leverage prospecting tools to surface, validate, and intelligently reach leads
• Fast learner who adapts quickly and masters existing processes while proactively building new ones
• Someone who genuinely enjoys research, pattern recognition, and creative problem-solving
• Experience in media or related industries is a plus but not required
