We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Manager, Audit Services to lead critical risk and assurance functions. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai has been retained to identify an experienced audit professional who can oversee complex financial, operational, and compliance engagements while developing a high-performing audit team.

This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to partner with business leaders across a geographically dispersed organization and deliver value-added recommendations that strengthen governance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the risk-based audit plan in alignment with annual objectives
• Supervise and develop audit team members through coaching, performance management, and formal work review
• Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of assurance and advisory engagements
• Perform engagement-level risk assessments, including fraud risk considerations, to identify key risks and control gaps
• Coordinate and oversee the SOX audit program, including tests of design and operating effectiveness of key internal controls
• Partner with financial controls and business stakeholders to ensure effective coverage of business processes
• Review and approve audit programs to ensure alignment with audit methodology and recognized frameworks such as COSO
• Evaluate audit results, determine issue severity, assess root causes, and develop practical recommendations
• Communicate engagement status, emerging risks, and audit results to management and leadership
• Coordinate with external auditors to support reliance on internal audit work
• Prepare and review audit reports and present results to management
• Support annual audit risk assessment and development of the audit plan
• Contribute to Audit Committee materials and reporting, including open issue status
• Promote continuous improvement in audit methodology, tools, and use of data analytics

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of internal or external audit experience with public companies preferred, or equivalent Big 4 public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Professional accounting or auditing designation (CIA or CPA required)
• Demonstrated experience leading complex audit engagements and supervising teams
• Strong knowledge of control and risk frameworks, particularly COSO
• Current knowledge of The Institute of Internal Auditors' Global Internal Audit Standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with audit and analytics tools such as AuditBoard, ACL, PowerBI, Access, or SQL
• Proven project management experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to develop innovative solutions
• Superior written and oral communication skills with ability to present persuasively
• Exceptional professionalism and comfort working with C-level executives
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across business functions
• Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience collaborating in a geographically dispersed US-based organization
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
