Business Development Representative- APAC

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global education organization seeking a Business Development Representative to support their APAC market expansion. This remote role, based in China, offers the chance to connect international talent with career-building opportunities while driving B2B partnership growth across 20+ industries.

Our talent team is looking for a self-motivated professional who thrives in remote-first environments and has a proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Research and build targeted prospect lists of organizations across APAC markets
• Execute multi-channel outreach strategies via LinkedIn, email, phone, and industry events
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through partner onboarding
• Lead discovery calls and presentations with diverse organizations across multiple industries
• Convert qualified prospects into long-term partnerships and guide onboarding onto the platform
• Collaborate with marketing to develop social selling strategies and thought leadership content
• Maintain and optimize CRM data and prospect lists
• Identify process improvement opportunities through automation and technology
• Provide consultative support to new partners on program design and structure
• Build lasting relationships with external contacts and internal teams to enhance client experience

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of business development, sales, or key account management experience with demonstrated success in client acquisition
• Proven ability to excel in remote-first work environments with strong self-discipline and time management
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
• Detail-oriented and process-driven approach to managing clients through complete sales cycles
• Target-driven mindset with consistent results orientation
• Exceptional organizational skills and growth-oriented attitude
• Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial)
• Willingness to travel within APAC approximately quarterly for meetings, conferences, and events
• Strong cultural sensitivity and passion for education and international exchange
• Entrepreneurial or start-up experience is a plus
• Home office setup with personal computer
