Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential consulting firm seeking a working student to support their software development and applied AI initiatives. In this role, you will:
- Support the development of backend services and data pipelines using Python
- Implement frontend components and internal tools with TypeScript and React
- Work with relational databases, including SQL queries, data models, and data preparation
- Prototype solutions using LLM APIs and AI agents for automation projects
- Contribute to testing, documentation, and code reviews
- Take ownership of independent sub-tasks in client projects after onboarding
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a student with both technical capability and genuine project experience:
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong foundation in Python and initial experience with TypeScript and React
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Personal projects beyond coursework (hobby tools, bots, web applications, or similar)
- Interest in AI with practical experience using AI models or LLM APIs
- Basic business understanding or eagerness to develop it
- Excellent German and good English language skills, written and spoken
- Availability for 15–20 hours per week during term time, with flexibility for more during semester breaks
