Senior Product Owner – Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential beauty e-commerce organization headquartered in Berlin. This is a Senior Product Owner role focused on data and analytics, where you'll shape how the business builds and ships data products that drive commercial outcomes across marketing, operations, and finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide analytics function, including the KPI framework, reporting cadence, BI tooling and glossary, and decision-support standards
• Own the product delivery roadmap for data initiatives within the central data analytics team
• Translate commercial questions around CAC/LTV, channel mix, contribution margin, cohort behavior, and inventory turnover into scoped, prioritized data products and repeatable analyses
• Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that data engineering and analytics teams can execute without ambiguity
• Lead discovery and experimentation with stakeholders for new data capabilities, from self-serve analytics tooling to ML-powered features
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholder needs and technical team execution

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years in a product management or product owner role in BI, analytics, or a closely adjacent role at a D2C, e-commerce, or consumer brand
• Strong business understanding with focus on impact rather than output alone
• Deep understanding of D2C metrics including CAC, LTV, CIR/ROAS, contribution margin, cohort analytics, and marketing attribution
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to operate at C-level
• Ability to translate ambiguous commercial questions into sharp, defensible analyses
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly in a startup environment, creating structure rather than waiting for it
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Exposure to modern data stack concepts such as data warehouses, self-serve analytics tools, and ML pipelines (nice to have)
• Experience writing SQL or working directly with data and AI tools (nice to have)
