Retail Onboarding Specialist – German Speaking

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential delivery technology company seeking a German-speaking Retail Onboarding Specialist in Berlin. In this role, you will:

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for retail partners from initial contact through successful go-live
• Actively onboard, train, and support merchant partners, including conducting on-site training sessions when required
• Coordinate photoshoots and manage external resources for data entry and catalog creation
• Edit, structure, and optimize menus and product assortments with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy
• Ensure high-quality product data standards and continuously improve catalog processes
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the onboarding funnel
• Act as a central driver of onboarding velocity by proactively resolving roadblocks and accelerating partner activation
• Analyze workflows and implement process improvements, leveraging technology to scale operations efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and proactive problem-solving approach
• Outstanding communication abilities in both German and English (written and verbal), with confidence engaging senior-level stakeholders internally and externally
• Comfort picking up the phone, challenging stakeholders constructively, and driving execution forward
• 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, operations, or customer support roles
• Proficiency working with data in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with eagerness to develop these skills further
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a bias for action and measurable impact
• Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional team environments and actively drive collaboration
