Retail Sales Manager (m/w/d) | Remote | Region München

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology platform in the quick commerce sector, and our talent team is seeking a Retail Sales Manager (m/w/d) to drive regional expansion in the Munich area.

In this role, you will:

• Identify and acquire retail partners: Source and onboard supermarkets, non-food retailers, and other local merchants onto the platform, securing optimal commercial terms.
• Manage your sales pipeline: Independently steer your pipeline and build strong networks with business owners and store managers across the retail sector.
• Present compelling value propositions: Position our client's platform as a leading e-commerce solution by actively listening to prospective partners and addressing decision-makers with tailored benefits.
• Maintain field presence: Spend approximately 3–4 days per week in the field conducting face-to-face visits within a 50 km radius of Munich, with 1–2 days for strategic planning and cold outreach from home.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with onboarding teams to ensure seamless partner integration and optimal platform representation.

What We're Looking For

• Field sales experience: 3+ years in B2B sales with a strong track record in cold calling and proactive in-person acquisition.
• Adaptability: Comfortable communicating at all levels—from small business owners to C-level executives—while remaining authentic and goal-oriented.
• Performance-driven mindset: Motivated to win top-tier retail partners and significantly grow market share in your territory.
• Self-organization: Skilled at planning efficient field routes, tracking activities independently, and managing your pipeline reliably.
• Resilience and positivity: Persistent, solution-focused, and able to maintain a positive attitude even when facing obstacles.
• Education and language: University degree or completed vocational training; fluent in German with solid English proficiency.
