Retail Sales Manager (m/w/d) | Remote | Region Munich

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology platform in their search for a Retail Sales Manager to drive growth in the Munich region. In this remote field role, you will take full ownership of building and expanding a retail partner portfolio across your territory.

You will identify and engage high-potential retail partners, from specialty retailers to innovative local businesses. Meeting decision-makers face-to-face, you'll understand their commercial challenges and position our client's platform as their growth partner. You'll build a robust sales pipeline, execute acquisition strategies, and negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships that create long-term value.

Your work will directly shape how retailers connect with customers through technology. You'll collaborate closely with onboarding and operational teams to ensure every new partner launches successfully and achieves measurable results on the platform.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of sales, business development, or partnership experience with proven success in acquiring and closing new business
• Comfort with prospecting, cold outreach, and in-person customer meetings
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with business owners and regional managers
• Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented approach
• Excellent organizational and pipeline management capabilities
• Fluent German and good English proficiency
• Experience in retail, hospitality, marketplace businesses, SaaS, payments, or technology sales is advantageous

This is a remote field sales position based within a 50 km radius of Munich. A company car will be provided to support your customer visits and field activities.

Pay

Compensation starts at €67,000 OTE with a 60/40 base-to-variable pay structure.
