Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential rail transport organization seeking an experienced Trainer for Train Drivers (Triebfahrzeugführer) in Berlin. In this role, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical training sessions to train drivers and onboard staff, preparing them for operational service
- Lead various training modules alongside our client's trainer team, focusing on areas that match your expertise and interests
- Actively contribute to developing training materials, learning concepts, and processes while supporting the expansion of digital learning formats
- Accompany colleagues during practical rides, refresher courses, and qualification measures directly in operational environments
- Ensure knowledge is effectively and sustainably transferred to all trainees
- Travel to various training locations to deliver sessions and collaborate closely with the training team
What We're Looking For
- Completed railway operational training with several years of professional experience as a train driver (Triebfahrzeugführer)
- Experience as a trainer, instructor, or examiner is advantageous; alternatively, strong enthusiasm for knowledge transfer and willingness to develop in this role
- Excellent communication skills with genuine enjoyment in mentoring people and conveying knowledge in practical, understandable ways
- Initiative, structured working approach, and readiness to continuously learn new topics
- Willingness to conduct trainings predominantly along the Berlin-Hamburg-Cologne-Frankfurt-Stuttgart corridor
- German language proficiency required for training delivery
