Senior Fullstack Engineer (all identities)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital health organization based in Berlin that is transforming how rehabilitation care is delivered. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join a cross-functional Healthcare Professionals Squad focused on building and improving the therapist-facing platform.

In this role, you will work across a Ruby on Rails backend and React/TypeScript frontend, partnering closely with Product and Design to shape solutions from initial problem through to production. You will join a collaborative team of four engineers and a UX/UI Designer, contributing to both feature development and the underlying architecture that supports healthcare professionals in their daily work.

Responsibilities

• Learn existing therapist workflows and platform architecture, shipping your first improvements within the first three months
• Take ownership of full-stack features from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, release, and iteration
• Build and enhance features across the Ruby on Rails backend and React/TypeScript frontend
• Make technical implementation decisions regarding code structure, testing approaches, and incremental refactoring
• Break down and deliver work within agreed priorities while maintaining engineering standards
• Lead technical recommendations for changes affecting shared architecture or cross-team dependencies
• Improve both the end-user experience and the reliability and maintainability of the platform

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience building and operating web applications in production environments
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and solid experience with React and modern TypeScript
• Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), APIs, and testing methodologies
• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, make sound technical trade-offs, and deliver maintainable solutions
• Product-oriented mindset with focus on understanding intended outcomes rather than treating tasks in isolation
• Independence and judgment to take work from initial problem definition through to production delivery
• Professional working proficiency in English

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €76,000 to €82,000 gross annually (based on full-time 40-hour work week). Your starting salary will be aligned with your qualifications, relevant experience, and skill set.
