Head of GTM Systems & AI (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Head of GTM Systems & AI to lead their go-to-market technology infrastructure in Berlin (remote within Germany).

This role sits at the intersection of systems architecture, AI implementation, and revenue operations. You'll own the technology stack that powers sales, marketing, and customer success—including CRM, marketing automation, data enrichment, and emerging AI tooling. You'll inherit a high-performing team and mature systems, then elevate them by building scalable AI agents and products that multiply GTM effectiveness.

You'll partner directly with commercial leaders, data teams, and engineering to transform business challenges into reliable automation—determining where AI removes friction and where human expertise remains essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal AI operating model for go-to-market functions, including agent evaluation frameworks, adoption metrics, and ROI tracking in partnership with data and enablement teams
• Design and maintain the long-term GTM technology architecture across CRM, marketing automation, and customer success platforms—making strategic build-versus-buy decisions
• Lead and develop a team of five senior individual contributors across Salesforce, marketing/BDR systems, CS tooling, and web operations
• Manage the complete vendor lifecycle: evaluations, quarterly portfolio reviews, contract renewals, and keep-or-kill decisions
• Drive cross-functional change management and adoption of new GTM capabilities across distributed teams
• Ship AI agents that autonomously monitor business data and trigger actions, with clear business ownership and success metrics defined before launch
• Establish and enforce standards for documentation, testing, and deployment without sacrificing velocity
• Partner at peer level with leaders across data, enablement, security, finance, and all commercial functions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in GTM systems, AI workflow products, revenue technology, enterprise SaaS, or technical product management with strong AI focus
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into reliable, scalable systems—you can evaluate processes, identify where AI creates value, and make sound automation decisions across the revenue engine
• Deep fluency with modern GTM platforms: Salesforce (strong plus), marketing automation, enrichment tools, routing systems, attribution, lead-to-quote, billing, or customer lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience building with modern AI tooling: agents, LLM plugins or skills, business system connectors, and evaluation frameworks
• Strong analytics foundation—you define KPIs, run experiments, and use data to prioritize investments and measure impact on pipeline, conversion, efficiency, and revenue
• Executive communication skills: conclusion-first thinking, clear tradeoff articulation, ability to simplify complex topics and drive adoption
• Experience running end-to-end vendor evaluations and managing technology portfolios
• Leadership approach that sets high standards while coaching senior ICs with care
• Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments requiring rapid strategy iteration
• Fluent English; German at B2 level or equivalent is beneficial
