Product Line Manager Powertrain & Defense | Region Lausanne, Schweiz

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential international industrial organization, is seeking an experienced Product Line Manager to drive innovation in powertrain and drivetrain systems for defense applications. In this strategic role, you will:

• Manage the product portfolio across the complete product lifecycle
• Define product requirements and develop market and product strategies
• Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitive developments
• Control pricing, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives
• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and project management teams
• Support product launches and develop compelling value propositions
• Advance the product portfolio and derive strategic action recommendations

What We're Looking For

We are representing our client in the search for a candidate with:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or comparable field
• Several years of experience in Product Management within a technical industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of powertrain, engine, or drivetrain systems
• Experience collaborating with international customers and interdisciplinary teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong market and customer orientation
• Proficiency with project management methods and relevant tools
• Excellent German and English skills; good French language proficiency required
