About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the delivery and marketplace technology sector, seeking a Retail Onboarding Team Lead to join their growing operations in Berlin. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 8 onboarding specialists, ensuring seamless integration of retail partners onto the platform
• Drive timely onboarding of retail partners while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting established KPIs
• Continuously optimize and streamline onboarding processes, particularly for partners with large product assortments such as supermarkets and grocery retailers
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Account Management, and Catalog teams on cross-functional projects to enhance operational excellence
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Retail department, representing onboarding in discussions about product changes and strategic decisions
• Set, track, and analyze KPIs to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure data accuracy and quality across all product information, particularly for large-scale retail partners
• Maintain expertise in LMIV (Lebensmittelinformationsverordnung) regulations and ensure full compliance in all grocery and supermarket onboarding processes

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, with a focus on change management and team leadership
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or similar fast-paced operational environments
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Strong analytical capabilities to monitor performance metrics and drive data-driven improvements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and drive improvements independently
• Fluency in German and English is required

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in onboarding processes
• Experience managing teams of 5+ people
• Background in retail, grocery, or supermarket operations
