Retail Sales Manager (m/w/d) | Remote | Region Munich

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology commerce client in their search for a Retail Sales Manager based in the Munich region. This is a remote field sales role focused on driving retail partnerships and market expansion across Bavaria.

Our client operates one of Europe's fastest-growing commerce platforms, connecting customers with retailers, groceries, and everyday essentials. As they accelerate their retail expansion across Germany, they need ambitious sales professionals who can own a territory, build strategic partnerships, and create measurable commercial impact.

This role offers genuine ownership of your market, a company car for field activities, and the opportunity to shape how retailers connect with customers through technology.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and sign high-potential retail partners across Munich and surrounding areas, including supermarket chains, specialty retailers, and innovative local businesses
• Own your territory by building a strong pipeline and executing an effective acquisition strategy to drive retail growth
• Build strategic relationships with business owners, regional managers, and decision-makers through face-to-face meetings
• Negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships and position the platform as a growth partner for retailers
• Collaborate with onboarding and operational teams to ensure successful partner launches and ongoing success
• Manage your pipeline effectively and maintain strong organizational discipline

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of sales, business development, or partnership experience
• Proven track record of acquiring and closing new business
• Comfortable with prospecting, cold outreach, and in-person customer meetings
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented approach
• Excellent organizational and pipeline management capabilities
• Fluent German and good English skills required
• Experience in retail, hospitality, marketplace businesses, SaaS, payments, or technology sales is a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: The client offers €67,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings) with a 60/40 base-to-variable pay split.
