Retail Onboarding Specialist – German Speaking

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential delivery technology company operating across multiple European markets. Our client is seeking a German-speaking Retail Onboarding Specialist to join their Berlin team and drive partner success through seamless onboarding processes.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, partner success, and data management. You'll own the end-to-end journey for retail partners entering the platform—from first contact through successful launch—while optimizing processes and collaborating across sales, account management, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete onboarding lifecycle for retail partners, ensuring smooth transitions from contract signing to platform go-live
• Conduct partner training sessions, including on-site visits when required, to ensure long-term platform adoption and success
• Coordinate photography sessions and manage external resources for data entry and product catalog creation
• Structure, edit, and optimize product catalogs and menus with strong attention to data quality and accuracy
• Maintain high standards for product data integrity and continuously improve catalog processes
• Collaborate with sales, account management, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and eliminate onboarding bottlenecks
• Serve as central point of contact, proactively addressing obstacles and accelerating onboarding velocity
• Analyze workflows and implement process improvements, leveraging technology to scale operations efficiently
• Work extensively with Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation, catalog management, and operational reporting

What We're Looking For

• Language: Native or fluent German and professional English (written and spoken)
• Experience: 4+ years in sales, account management, operations, or customer support roles
• Technical skills: Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable working with large datasets and structured data
• Ownership mindset: Entrepreneurial approach with ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision
• Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging with senior-level contacts both internally and externally
• Proactive nature: Not afraid to pick up the phone, challenge processes, and push initiatives forward
• Analytical ability: Strong problem-solving skills with bias for action and measurable impact
• Detail orientation: Highly organized with meticulous attention to quality and process adherence
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany
