Trainer/ Ausbilder für Lokführer (Triebfahrzeugführer) (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential rail transport organization seeking an experienced train driver to transition into a training role. In this position, you will:

• Deliver practical and theoretical training sessions to railway vehicle operators and onboard staff, preparing them for operational service
• Work collaboratively with the trainer team to deliver various training modules aligned with your areas of expertise, with significant autonomy in how you design and conduct sessions
• Contribute to the ongoing development of training materials, learning concepts, and processes, including supporting the expansion of digital learning formats
• Accompany colleagues during practical runs, refresher courses, and qualification measures directly in operational settings to ensure knowledge transfer is sustainable
• Travel regularly to training locations along major rail routes connecting Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart
• Help shape training standards and approaches within a growing railway operation

What We're Looking For

• Completed railway operational training and several years of professional experience as a train driver (Triebfahrzeugführer)
• Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or examiner is advantageous; alternatively, a genuine enthusiasm for knowledge transfer and willingness to develop into this role
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in supporting others through practical, hands-on guidance
• Self-motivated, structured working style with readiness to continuously learn new topics
• Willingness to conduct training primarily along routes connecting Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart
• German language proficiency required for this role
