Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential rail transport organization seeking an experienced Train Driver Trainer to deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical training programs. In this role, you will:

• Deliver engaging theory and hands-on training sessions to prepare train drivers and onboard personnel for operational duties
• Take ownership of specific training modules aligned with your expertise, working collaboratively with the training team
• Actively contribute to the ongoing development of training materials, learning concepts, and instructional processes
• Support the expansion of digital learning formats and modern training methodologies
• Accompany colleagues during practical journeys, follow-up training sessions, and qualification measures in live operational environments
• Travel regularly to training locations along major routes connecting Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart
• Ensure knowledge transfer is sustainable and effective through continuous support and follow-up

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

• Completed railway operations training and several years of professional experience as a train driver (Triebfahrzeugführer)
• Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or examiner is advantageous; alternatively, strong enthusiasm for knowledge transfer and willingness to develop in this role
• Excellent communication skills with a talent for conveying information clearly and supporting others in practical learning environments
• Self-motivated with a structured working approach and readiness to continuously learn new topics
• Willingness to conduct training primarily along the organization's route network (Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart)
• Strong interpersonal skills and genuine enjoyment in coaching and developing people
