About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology company based in Karlsruhe that is expanding its digital product portfolio for medical practices across Germany. We are seeking a medical student (working student / Werkstudent*in) who has completed their first state examination and gained practical patient care experience to join their product development team.
This remote-first role offers you the chance to directly influence how thousands of medical practices modernize their workflows. You'll translate real-world clinical insights into product decisions across an evolving suite of digital healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Bring insights from actual practice workflows, pain points, and needs of physicians and practice staff into product development across the entire product portfolio
- Evaluate and help shape new features and products from a medical perspective
- Support collection and analysis of user feedback from medical practices through interviews, conversations, and structured evaluations
- Contribute to development of existing and new products to ensure solutions address real-world practice needs
- Work closely with Product, Tech, and Customer Success teams to translate practice requirements into concrete product decisions
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in medical studies, minimum completion of first state examination (1. Staatsexamen)
- Practical experience in patient care through Famulatur, clinical rotations, or work in a practice/hospital setting
- Genuine interest in healthcare digitalization and improving clinical processes
- Structured, independent working style, particularly in remote environments
- High affinity for AI and willingness to use AI tools in daily work
- Availability of 15–20 hours per week (flexible scheduling; more hours possible during semester breaks)
- German language skills at native level or minimum B2
- Fluent English
- Ideally based in or near Karlsruhe for occasional in-person coordination
Optional: Interest in incorporating internships or thesis work with practical healthcare focus—the client supports such projects.
