Manager, Strategy & Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Manager of Strategy & Analytics. This role sits at the intersection of marketing optimization, customer retention analysis, and strategic planning. You'll work cross-functionally to deliver insights that drive business decisions and present recommendations directly to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses focused on marketing channel performance, client retention, and lifetime customer value
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, product, and sales teams to deliver actionable insights
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Re-define and challenge company KPIs critical to achieving business goals
• Work with product and operations teams to define tests and experimental design
• Dive into data and processes to identify operational challenges and opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, STEM, or other analytical field
• 2-4 years professional experience in marketing, product, strategy, or business analytics
• Prior experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or start-up environments
• Strong proficiency with Excel and SQL for data analysis
• Experience with Python or R is a plus
• Familiarity with Looker or Tableau preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present to non-analytical partners
• Quick learner willing to dive in and solve open-ended problems

Location: Chicago area preferred; fully remote candidates with proven remote work success may be considered.

Pay

Base salary range: $118,830–$162,636 USD annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus through the client.
