Enterprise Solution Engineer – Central

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud analytics organization in their search for an Enterprise Solution Engineer based in the Central United States. Our client is transforming how organizations unlock insights from their cloud data warehouses, and this role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer success.

As a Solution Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the presales cycle, partnering closely with enterprise sales teams to demonstrate value, build prototypes, and architect solutions that address real business challenges. You'll work with prospects and customers to uncover their analytics needs and showcase how modern BI approaches can drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer business challenges and requirements
• Design, build, and present customized solution prototypes and demonstrations for prospects across various industries
• Articulate technical and business value to stakeholders at all levels, from analysts to C-suite executives
• Deliver product presentations at customer meetings, trade shows, and webinars
• Respond to technical, product, and security questions in RFPs and RFIs
• Advise on integration approaches and data migration strategies for enterprise sales cycles
• Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements while meeting quarterly objectives
• Collaborate across sales, product, engineering, and support teams to ensure customer success
• Maintain deep product expertise and stay current with relevant technology certifications
• Travel approximately 25% to customer sites and events

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on business intelligence experience
• Strong customer-facing and relationship management skills
• Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar)
• Familiarity with ETL tools and approaches (Fivetran, Matillion, or traditional ETL platforms)
• Proven track record implementing production BI solutions or proof-of-concept projects
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical and business experience
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred qualifications:

• SaaS company or cloud architecture background
• Experience with data analytics business use cases across various industries
• Startup or high-growth company experience
