Overview
We are representing a confidential language services organization seeking qualified Haitian Creole interpreters to join their network of independently contracted professionals. In this remote role, you will facilitate critical language communication for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals across various settings through on-demand audio and video interpreting services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate interpretation services via web-based audio and video platforms
- Respond to inbound interpretation requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards and adhere to professional codes of conduct
- Provide exceptional service to both clients and LEP community members
- Follow all interpretation protocols and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- Full professional fluency in both English and Haitian Creole (required)
- Proficiency with web-based technology platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
- A dedicated, quiet, and secure workspace free from background noise
- 1+ years of professional interpreting experience (preferred)
- Industry certifications such as CMI, CCHI, or equivalent trainings (preferred)
- Independent contractor status with reliable internet connection
