Senior Technical Service Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology infrastructure organization in Hamburg for a Senior Technical Service Manager position. In this role, you will take ownership of escalation and incident management, ensuring structured resolution of technical disruptions. You'll provide expert technical consultation, analyze complex situations, and develop tailored solutions for mission-critical systems.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing escalation workflows and incident response processes to ensure rapid resolution of technical issues
• Coordinating cross-functional collaboration and maintaining clear, reliable communication across teams
• Owning customer and solution management, guiding issues through to sustainable resolution
• Ensuring service quality and providing dependable technical support
• Contributing to the continuous development of products and services
• Independently prioritizing technical escalations and making informed decisions within your areas of responsibility
• Convening and moderating cross-departmental incident meetings as needed
• Initiating immediate technical measures within established support processes
• Recommending appropriate changes to improve operational stability and quality
• Monitoring service quality and ensuring adherence to established service processes

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a professional with:

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT service, IT operations, or a customer-focused IT environment
• Strong technical understanding of complex IT systems
• Excellent communication skills and proven moderation competence
• Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to different audiences
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• High degree of customer and service orientation
• Willingness to travel for on-site customer and project support
• Professional fluency in German is essential for this Hamburg-based role
