Digital Design Team Lead — Retention/CRM

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential iGaming organization seeking a Digital Design Team Lead to own the creative output for retention marketing across multiple brands. This is a remote leadership role focused on building systems, standards, and team capability that enable high-volume, high-quality CRM creative production.

This is a marketing creative leadership position—not product or UX design. You will lead a team of digital designers producing retention marketing assets including emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and onsite banners across multiple brands and CRM channels simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain documented visual brand systems including templates, component libraries, and practical design guidance that designers actually use
• Establish repeatable production frameworks with modular templates, clear briefing standards, and clean versioning processes for multi-brand CRM output
• Structure AI creative workflows with brand-specific prompt libraries, locked reference styles, review checkpoints, and finishing standards
• Define measurable quality standards for each brand and track signals like first-pass approval rate and rework volume
• Lead and support the design team through regular 1:1s, clear feedback, workload management, hiring contributions, and onboarding
• Convert repeated feedback into reusable checklists, onboarding materials, and process improvements
• Catch delivery and quality risks before they impact send dates while continuously improving team workflows

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional digital design experience with a strong portfolio of digital marketing work
• Proven track record building design systems such as templates, brand guidelines, component libraries, or repeatable creative processes
• Experience mentoring or supporting other designers; formal leadership experience is beneficial but not required
• Sharp attention to detail with the ability to provide clear, kind, and actionable feedback
• Direct, effective communicator who thrives in fast-moving remote team environments
• Hands-on experience with AI creative tools or a strong perspective on implementing AI workflows
• Systems-thinking approach—energized by turning ad-hoc processes into documented standards
