Technical Product Manager – AI Investing App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client building an AI-powered investment platform serving Southeast Asia. This Technical Product Manager role is based remotely in Poland and offers the chance to own a complete product vertical in a high-stakes financial environment where reliability, regulatory compliance, and user trust are paramount.

Our client is expanding rapidly across payments, remittance, insurance, wealth management, and trading products. They need a product leader who understands that moving real money requires technical rigor, not just feature velocity—someone who knows when AI genuinely improves outcomes and when deterministic systems must remain in control.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery
• Shape technical design alongside engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive complex trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Embed regulatory requirements into product design across KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI where it delivers measurable value, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate product delivery around external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and third-party partnerships
• Align cross-functional teams—Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance—around clear product decisions and launch criteria

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural decisions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including understanding evaluation frameworks, reliability considerations, and when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for working with distributed international teams

Preferred:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer financial products
• Track record defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
