Motions Design Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization expanding across Southeast Asia and Australia. Our client is building next-generation financial applications and needs a senior Motion Design Lead to elevate their visual storytelling and brand presence across digital channels.

This is a hybrid role based in Australia, working with a lean, high-output creative team that values speed, quality, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and animation of motion graphics for marketing campaigns, product explainers, social content, and digital advertising
• Conceptualize and develop storyboards, frames, and animation sequences aligned with brand objectives
• Maintain visual consistency and technical quality across all motion outputs
• Mentor junior motion designers and guide creative execution across projects
• Partner with video editors, videographers, and graphic designers to produce cohesive multimedia content
• Oversee motion production from concept to delivery, ensuring efficiency and technical excellence
• Develop reusable templates and motion design systems to streamline production
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative innovation with timely delivery
• Present design concepts to stakeholders clearly and persuasively
• Stay current with motion design trends, animation techniques, and creative tools
• Experiment with advanced VFX, 3D animation, and emerging digital formats

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Multimedia Design, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or creative production
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is a strong plus
• Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual composition
• Proven ability to lead creative direction and guide teams toward impactful visual outcomes
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating advanced motion design and animation work
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with global teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where clarity, execution, and iteration drive results
