About This Opportunity

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine learning models as part of the data science team
- Work on advanced AI techniques including reinforcement learning and Q-learning
- Identify, structure, and solve complex data challenges that drive business value
- Experiment with emerging technologies to address unique technical problems
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, product management, and business stakeholders
- Present technical concepts and product solutions to diverse audiences
- Contribute to projects from conception through deployment
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in startup or fintech environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
- Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Proven track record of delivering machine learning solutions to business problems
- Experience with agile development practices including TDD/BDD, continuous integration, code reviews, and refactoring
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, transformers)
- Hands-on experience deploying open-source LLMs (hosting, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation)
- Background in Reinforcement Learning applications
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure solutions such as AWS
