Product Owner – Communications Channels & AI

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential audio technology organization seeking a Product Owner to lead their communications and AI product portfolio. In this role, you will own and continuously improve cloud telephony, AI receptionist, and contact center solutions, ensuring they deliver measurable client value and long-term commercial growth.

You will translate client needs, technology capabilities, and commercial priorities into scalable products and service models. Your core accountabilities include:

• Setting clear, prioritized roadmaps that balance client value, technical feasibility, commercial return, and operational capacity
• Defining product strategy and long-term direction for cloud communications platforms and AI-powered receptionist capabilities
• Establishing product standards, service models, and client journeys that teams can execute consistently
• Making disciplined build, buy, and partner decisions to ensure scalable product direction
• Owning commercial performance including pricing, cost-to-serve, gross margin, and revenue metrics
• Creating structured feedback loops to identify and solve product problems before they impact retention
• Ensuring operational readiness before new capabilities launch, including support models, SLAs, and client communications
• Maintaining visibility into product performance across adoption, usage, NPS, retention, and service issues

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a product owner who can bring together product performance, platform capability, roadmap execution, client outcomes, and cross-functional alignment into one coherent improvement agenda.

Essential experience:

• Proven track record owning technical product portfolios in communications, telephony, or AI-driven service platforms
• Strong commercial discipline with experience managing pricing, margins, and investment cases
• Ability to define client experiences across onboarding, configuration, in-life usage, and renewal
• Experience working with partner platforms and resell models
• Track record ensuring operational readiness and creating tight governance for launches
• Data-driven approach to product decisions and performance measurement
• Ability to work cross-functionally with customer success, sales, technical operations, and engineering teams

This is a Monday-Friday position based in Manchester with standard business hours.
