Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel based in München. In this role, you will:
- Provide legal advice on commercial and corporate matters across the business
- Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts, with particular focus on software and customer agreements
- Support international expansion initiatives, including UK market entry
- Build and continuously improve scalable legal processes, contract templates, and governance frameworks
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Management teams while coordinating external legal counsel when needed
- Support data protection, compliance, and corporate housekeeping matters
- Drive adoption of legal technology and AI-powered solutions to enhance legal operations
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally gained in an international company or leading commercial law firm
- Strong background in commercial law with extensive experience negotiating technology and software agreements
- Solid understanding of UK law and Common Law principles
- Proven ability to build processes and structures in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in legal technology, contract automation, and AI-enabled workflows
- Business fluent in German and English
- Experience with GDPR and compliance topics is a plus
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and AI-supported legal workflows is beneficial
