Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel based in München. In this role, you will:

  • Provide legal advice on commercial and corporate matters across the business
  • Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts, with particular focus on software and customer agreements
  • Support international expansion initiatives, including UK market entry
  • Build and continuously improve scalable legal processes, contract templates, and governance frameworks
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Management teams while coordinating external legal counsel when needed
  • Support data protection, compliance, and corporate housekeeping matters
  • Drive adoption of legal technology and AI-powered solutions to enhance legal operations

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally gained in an international company or leading commercial law firm
  • Strong background in commercial law with extensive experience negotiating technology and software agreements
  • Solid understanding of UK law and Common Law principles
  • Proven ability to build processes and structures in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Interest in legal technology, contract automation, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Experience with GDPR and compliance topics is a plus
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and AI-supported legal workflows is beneficial
