Fullstack Entwickler NestJS / Angular (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential software consultancy based in Stuttgart that delivers enterprise-grade solutions across public sector, transportation, and corporate clients throughout Germany.

As a Fullstack Developer, you will be embedded directly in client teams with full ownership of your technical domain:

• Build complex web applications using Node.js backend and Angular frontend stacks
• Develop event-driven services with messaging via RabbitMQ and real-time communication through WebSockets
• Design data models and optimize query performance in PostgreSQL
• Contribute to architectural decisions, not just implementation
• Generate, review, and refactor code using AI tools including Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentoring within project teams
• Coordinate with Product Owners, UX designers, and DevOps engineers

Work is primarily remote with optional office attendance one to two days per week in Stuttgart. Client on-site presence is limited to occasional meetings every few weeks.

Depending on your background, you may work on projects in transportation and logistics systems with high data throughput, large enterprise environments including rail-specific domains, public sector organizations with strict security and accessibility requirements, or mid-market corporate clients across various industries.

What We're Looking For

Required Backend Skills:

• Senior-level experience with NestJS using TypeScript/JavaScript on Node.js
• PostgreSQL expertise including data modeling, migrations, and query optimization
• RabbitMQ and asynchronous, event-driven communication patterns
• WebSockets for real-time functionality
• REST API design and implementation
• Testing as part of Definition of Done, not an afterthought
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and agile methodologies

Required Frontend Skills:

• Angular with TypeScript

Preferred Experience (not mandatory):

• Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
• Frontend testing frameworks including Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
• Modern web architectures and microservice design
• Accessibility standards (BITV 2.0 / WCAG AA)
• DevSecOps and security-by-design principles

You must be comfortable working on both backend and frontend, with multiple completed projects demonstrating expertise in the core technologies listed above.

Language Requirement: Project work is conducted in German. Native-level fluency or C2 certification is required for team communication, meetings, and documentation.

AI Tooling: Productive use of AI development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) is mandatory. Our client expects this level of productivity, and internal training will support your AI development skills.
