Werkstudent Softwareentwicklung Schwerpunkt Security (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare IT organization seeking a working student in software development with a security focus. In this role, you will:

• Work at the interface between various development teams and stakeholders, supporting them with security-related questions
• Assist with security checks and identification of potential vulnerabilities in different software modules
• Participate in threat modeling and security analyses for various software components
• Support the establishment of uniform security standards and best practices in software development
• Raise awareness among teams for security-relevant topics such as authentication, encryption, and secure software architecture

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who brings:

• Current enrollment in an IT-related degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, IT Security, Cyber Security)
• Initial experience in software development with C# /.NET and ideally TypeScript / Vue.js, gained through previous working student positions or personal projects
• Strong interest in or existing knowledge of IT security topics (e.g., Secure Software Development, Secure Coding, OWASP Top 10, cryptography)
• Ideally, familiarity with SQL databases (T-SQL)
• Team spirit and strong communication skills with an active, collaborative approach
• Structured working style, reliability, and high quality consciousness
• Very good German language skills, written and spoken (C1 level)
