Werkstudent Data QA & Algorithm Benchmarking (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential geospatial technology company seeking a working student to support data quality assurance and algorithm benchmarking activities. In this role, you will:

• Evaluate the correctness of existing test datasets and develop new metrics for algorithm evaluation
• Identify and integrate edge-case test data for challenging scenarios such as complex roof geometries and environmental obstructions
• Source and integrate new test datasets, implementing automation wherever possible
• Execute benchmarking pipelines to quantitatively assess both algorithm performance and data quality
• Visualize and communicate analysis results clearly, deriving actionable insights and recommendations
• Implement and test improvements to benchmarking pipelines and algorithm parameters

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates who bring:

• Current enrollment in a higher Bachelor's or early Master's program in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Business Informatics, or a related field with focus on Data Science or Statistics (valid student status required)
• Strong analytical skills with enthusiasm for deep data analysis and statistical methods
• Curiosity about complex algorithms and interest in working within a demanding technical domain
• Team collaboration skills with high quality standards
• German language proficiency at C1 level or higher
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Preferred: Prior experience in architecture or property technology sectors and basic Python programming skills

Position Details: Working student role (12-20 hours per week, flexible scheduling). Location in Münster with approximately one office day per week. Available to start immediately.
