Warehouse Order Selector

Sysco is now hiring a full-time Warehouse Order Selector at our FreshPoint Kona location. As a Warehouse Order Selector, you'll play a key role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently within our busy distribution center.

What This Role Involves

This full-time position is central to our order fulfillment operations. You'll work in our FreshPoint Kona warehouse, where you'll be responsible for selecting, organizing, and preparing orders for shipment to our customers. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work at a steady pace, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of accuracy and safety.

What You'll Do

• Select items from warehouse inventory based on customer orders and pick lists
• Locate products across warehouse sections using order information and warehouse management systems
• Scan items and verify order contents for accuracy before packaging
• Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment
• Organize and maintain warehouse locations to ensure efficient order picking
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols throughout your shift
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets
• Report inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to your supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow order picking instructions accurately
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move items throughout your shift
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment with various temperatures
• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team spirit
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and best practices
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn warehouse management systems
