Associate Manager, AIOps Engineering

What This Role Involves

As Associate Manager of AIOps Engineering at Razer, you'll bridge engineering and operations to drive intelligent, automated systems. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll oversee engineering practices that reduce mean time to resolution, improve system observability, and enable the team to respond swiftly to operational challenges using data-driven insights and automation.

Core Duties

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of AIOps platforms and tooling that enhance system reliability and performance
• Oversee incident response workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical operational issues
• Drive adoption of monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation strategies across engineering teams
• Manage on-call rotations and foster a culture of blameless postmortems and continuous learning
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AIOps technologies and practices to keep Razer's operations at the industry forefront
• Mentor engineering staff and contribute to their professional development within the operations and reliability domain
• Work with cloud platforms, container orchestration, and observability tools to ensure system stability at scale

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in operations engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), or a closely related field
• Strong understanding of AIOps principles, including machine learning applications to operational challenges
• Demonstrable leadership or senior technical background with the ability to influence and guide teams
• Proficiency with modern monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or equivalent tools
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerised environments
• Solid foundation in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, or equivalent languages
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Problem-solving mindset with a passion for system reliability and operational excellence
