Position Summary

As Director of Operations for New Accounts, you'll lead a critical function within our organization—transforming how we bring new clients into the Raymondjames family. You'll manage all aspects of the new account lifecycle, from initial setup through successful integration, ensuring seamless experiences that build lasting partnerships. Your leadership will shape processes, guide teams, and set standards for operational performance across our new business operations.

Core Duties

  • Direct the strategy and execution of new account onboarding, ensuring timely, compliant, and client-focused implementations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams dedicated to new account operations
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and quality assurance across all new account activities
  • Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and client services teams to coordinate seamless handoffs and integrated experiences
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to leadership on new account progress and health
  • Maintain and enhance operational documentation, training programs, and best practices for your teams

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of operations leadership experience, ideally in financial services, new account management, or comparable regulated industries
  • Proven track record managing teams and delivering operational improvements at scale
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and risk management in client-facing operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Clear communicator comfortable building relationships across departments and with senior leadership
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow optimization, and operational technology
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations management, or related field
