CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver

Sysco Hawaii-Hilo is hiring a full-time CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our distribution team serving the Big Island community. In this role, you'll transport food, beverage, and supplies to restaurants, hotels, and foodservice businesses throughout the Hilo area, ensuring timely delivery and building strong customer relationships.

Position Summary

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco Hawaii-Hilo, you'll operate a commercial truck to deliver quality products to our valued customers. This full-time position combines professional driving with customer service, making you a direct representative of Sysco in the Hawaii-Hilo region. You'll work predictable local routes, return to your home base daily, and play a key role in supporting the foodservice industry across the Big Island.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class A truck safely and professionally on local routes throughout the Hilo area
• Load, secure, and unload deliveries using proper techniques and equipment
• Deliver orders to restaurants, hotels, catering facilities, and other foodservice customers
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures on delivery documentation
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
• Communicate professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues
• Complete delivery paperwork and record keeping accurately

What You Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and Department of Transportation regulations
• Physical ability to lift and load deliveries repeatedly throughout the day
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong customer service orientation
• Ability to navigate the Sysco Hawaii-Hilo delivery territory and manage time efficiently
• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience is valued
